Initial Ideas Of My Trailer.
- Genre: Martial Arts Action. Include a fair bit of fighting etc.
- Storyline: I thought of having a antagonist in my film who is a 'Hero' in himself however the actions he does aren't good. This would be good as it could slightly challenge some of the original conventions of Action films.
- Camera Shots and Angles: I would like to include a lot of mid-shots to show all the 'Action' as this will entice the audience more and maybe a few shots that aren't used very regularly to symbolise something.
- Editing: Action films are notorious for there fast paced editing to create suspense. It would be really effective in a trailer as they don't give a lot away to the audience. I will probably use just cuts as they are a quick way to change shot because if I used a fade it wouldn't have much effect and would be really slow to change creating the opposite feeling I want to create.
I would like to involve a fair amount of Martial arts into my film as I enjoy watching these films. I watch them a lot and I can appreciate the kind of things the audience want to see in it. Based on my research I have a very good idea of what I want to include in my trailer/
