Analysis Of Similar Products || HP Trailer.

Camera Shots/Movement.
In this trailer there are a lot of close ups of particular characters to show their emotional state. As this is the trailer for the final film the intention is most likely to show the transformation from when the first characters were first identified in the Harry Potter films. It is very effective using close ups as they don't allow characters to gain dominance. E.g a close up of a face only shows if they are scared or frightened etc whereas a mid shot would allow you to understand who has all power. By using more close ups, it creates a balance. The audience are unsure who has all the power therefore they will try and find who has all the dominance. The ECU of Harry Potters eyes is really effective as you cannot see anything except you can only assume what he is doing/thinking.

Sound.
The music is very influential in this trailer. The sound flows with every change of show to create the sense of forboding. It is very dramatic and slow to build some tension however when the shots begin coming in faster and quicker the speed of the music changes too. The music is parellel meaning it fits in with what is going on in the film world. The music speeds up when all the action begins to occur.

Text/Dialogue.
The text used is the same used throughout the whole Harry Potter saga's. The text is dark connotating death or danger. Furthermore, when the text is produced on the screen, it comes at the audience as if they must read it. By making it come at them, they feel more involvement in the trailer. The thunder and lighting is a common convention of horror films therefore again the sense of danger is outlined again.
